Minutes of the EFRAG-ASCG-Outreach-Event

Following the joint outreach event of EFRAG and ASCG held on 10 June 2022 the minutes summarize the results of the discussion.

It is meant to support EFRAG in the revision of the Exposure Drafts of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ED ESRS). At the outreach event the ED ESRS were presented and discussed by experts, who oftentimes had also participated in the development of these ED by EFRAG’s Project Task Force (PTF-ESRS). Experts contributed insights on the development of the ED ESRS.

As a result panellists and participants of the outreach event agreed that European Reporting Standards for Sustainability are urgently needed. EFRAG is being asked to address the points of critique that panellists and participants collectively compiled during the event.

On 29 April 2022 EFRAG published 13 ED EFRS for consultation. EFRAG’s asks for comments to its consultation surveys until 8 August 2022.

The ASCG has published its draft comment letter to the ED ESRS on 19 July 2022.
