Joint Outreach on the IASB’s Exposure Draft “Business Combinations – Disclosures, Goodwill and Impairment”

The German Accounting Standards Committee e.V. (ASCG), together with EFRAG, invites to a joint outreach event. The subject of the event is the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2024/1 Business Combinations – Disclosures, Goodwill and Impairment.

We are pleased that Florian Esterer, member of the IASB, will present the core contents of the IASB’s Exposure Draft.

We would like to use the event to gather views and other feedback from preparers, auditors, and users on the IASB’s proposed amendments to IFRS 3 Business Combinations and IAS 36 Impairment of Assets. We are also looking for an exchange of views on the preliminary positions of the standard setters involved.

The outreach event will take place on:

The event will be held virtually and in German. Selected content may be presented in English.
