Joint Outreach on the IASB’s Exposure Draft “Financial Instruments with Characteristics of Equity”

The German Accounting Standards Committee e.V. (ASCG) together with the standard setters from Austria (Austrian Financial Reporting Advisory Committee, AFRAC) as well as EFRAG invite to a joint outreach event. The subject of the event is the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2023/5 Financial Instruments with Characteristics of Equity (we reported).

We are pleased that Prof Andreas Barckow, Chair of the IASB, will present the core contents of the IASB’s Exposure Draft. We would like to use the event to gather views and other feedback from preparers, auditors, and users on the proposals and questions in the Exposure Draft. Further, we like to present initial views of the standard setters.

The event will be held virtually and in German. Selected content may be presented in English.
