IASB published its five-year-workplan

The Board has completed its Agenda Consultation 2015 and has published the IASB work plan until 2021. Having considered numerous comment letters on the Request For Views: 2015 Agenda Consultation the Board decided that a central theme for its activities until 2021 will be better communication in financial statements.

In addition, the IASB strives for completing the large standard level projects on Insurance Contracts and the Conceptual Framework in 2017. Furthermore, the IASB will focus on Implementation issues. The number of research projects has been reduced in order to enhance stakeholders’ engagement in these activities and to ensure timely completion.
