IASB issues ED PS Management Commentary

The IASB has published for public comment the Draft Practice Statement on Management Commentary.

The Board is proposing a comprehensive new framework for management commentaries to give investors and creditors the information they need to assess companies’ prospects over all time horizons, including in the long term.

The draft Practice Statement contains three chapters (General requirements, Areas of content, Selection and presentation of information) and two annexes.

Respondents are requested to answer the 16 questions raised in the ED and to give other feedback until 23 Novemer 2021.
