EU Commission initiates consultation on the Non-financial Reporting Directive

Today the European Commission has initiated the consultation (login required) on the review of the requirements of the Accounting Directive concerning non-financial reporting.

The consultation document contains 45 questions on eight subject matters (e.g. Quality and scope, Standardisation, Principle of materiality).

Respondents are invited to give feedback by 14 May 2020 via the Commission’s website.
