First Meeting of the ASCG’s preparer forum on the Post-implementation Review of IFRS 15

On 13 September 2023, the first ASCG’s preparer forum on the Post-implementation Review (PiR) of IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers was held as a video and telephone conference.

The meeting was motivated by the Request for Information (RfI) published by the IASB on 29 June 2023 as part of the PiR of IFRS 15.

Representatives from ASCG’s members (companies, audit firms and associations) shared their experiences with the application of the provisions of IFRS 15 since its implementation as well as expressed opinions on the issues raised by the IASB in its RfI.

This forum is another service for our members who support the ASCG financially. We are therefore pleased about the great interest expressed by many companies and associations and are already looking forward to the second meeting, which is expected to take place in mid to late October 2023.

Furthermore, we would like to remind all interested parties of our outreach event on PiR IFRS 15, which will take place on 9 October 2023, 9:00-12:00 am CET. The event will be held virtually and in German. For further details, please see our press release.
