Further change in the composition of the IFRS Technical Committee of the ASCG

The Administrative Board of the Accounting Standards Committee of Germany (ASCG), Berlin, adopted a change in the composition of the IFRS Technical Committee at its meeting on 2 July 2018 and unanimously adopted the proposal of the Nomination Committee.

Dr Stefan Wich (Merck) prevailed in a strong field of applicants. Dr Wich succeeds Dr Nikolaus Starbatty (Siemens), who resigned prematurely for professional reasons and left the IFRS Technical Committee on April 30.

The Administrative Board also followed the proposal of the Nomination Committee as regards the term of office in that Dr Wich will be appointed until November 30, 2021.
