Report on the Joint Outreach on “Contracts for Renewable Electricity”

On 4 July 2024, the ASCG together with the IASB, the standard setter from Austria (AFRAC) and EFRAG had held a joint outreach event. Subject of the event was the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2024/3 “Contracts for Renewable Electricity”.

The core contents of the IASB’s Exposure Draft were presented and discussed. Further, the participating standard setters provided its initial views. Please find attached our report on the Outreach Event (German version and English version).

The IASB’s comment period will end on 7 August 2024. The ASCG intend to prepare and submit a comment letter to the IASB in the near future.
