ASCG appointed as observer of the Sustainable Finance Committee of the German Government

The ASCG is appointed as a permanent observer of the Sustainable Finance Committee of the German Government in the 20th legislative term. The Committee supports the German Government in the implementation and further development of its Sustainable Finance Strategy on a national, European and international level.

In the previous legislative term, the DRSC promoted the work of the Committee through participation in public consultations and contributions to discussions, especially regarding its expertise in sustainability reporting.

Georg Lanfermann, ASCG President, commented on the appointment as follows: “The ASCG’s involvement in the work of the Sustainable Finance Committee is an appreciation of our work to advance sustainability reporting and to foster a sustainable economy. I look forward to working more closely with the Committee.”
