ASCG to host outreach events on the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2019/7 General Presentation and Disclosures

The ASCG invites all interested parties to a public outreach event by participation of representatives from EFRAG and the IASB. The topic of the event will be the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2019/7 General Presentation and Disclosures.

On 21 February and 28 February 2020, the ASCG already conducted educational sessions on the content of Exposure Draft ED/2019/7. The events were attended by around 50 interested parties (see our prior news item). At the follow-up events, we want to discuss with you the preliminary views of the participating standard setters and organisations. Also, we seek the exchange to your views on the content of the Exposure Draft.

Interested parties are invited to attend one of the two alternative meetings:

• Monday, 7 September 2020, or
• Friday, 11 September 2020.

Due to COVID-19-related restrictions, the events will be web-based and will take place from 10 am to 3 pm (including a lunch break from 12 am to 1 pm).

Participation is free of charge. For logistic reasons, we kindly ask you to register your interest by sending an email to bahrmann@drsc.de before 31 August 2020. We also ask you to inform us on which date you would like to participate.
