ASCG submits Potential Agenda Item Request on IFRIC 12 to the IFRS IC

Today, the ASGG has submitted a Potential Agenda Item Request (PAIR) on IFRIC 12 Service Concession Arrangements to the IFRS IC.

The PAIR raises the issue how lease arrangement for infrastructure as part of a service concession arrangement shall be accounted for under IFRIC 12. In particular it addresses the issue of arrangements with a third-party lessor and where principal-agent consideration need to be taken into account.
