ASCG responds to the EU-Commissions‘ consultation on non-binding guidelines on methodology for reporting non-financial information

The ASCG has sent a letter to the EU Commission regarding  the consultation on non-binding guidelines on methodology for reporting non-financial information. In this letter the ASCG notes that many of the questions raised in the questionnaire of the EU appear to be ambiguous and, therefore,  constituents’ answers may be prone to potential misinterpretation. Furthermore, the ASCG points out that the development of additional guidelines – even if non-binding – shall not extend the existing reporting requirements. (ASCG letter)
