New EFRAG TEG composition announced

The EFRAG Board has approved and announced the new EFRAG TEG composition as of 1 April 2019.

EFRAG TEG will welcome one new member, Ms Isabelle Grauer-Gaynor, as Silvia Dinova retires from EFRAG TEG. Five EFRAG TEG members are to be reappointed for one year: Geert Ewalts, Günther Gebhardt, Heinz Hense, Andrew Spooner, and Ambrogio Virgilio. The limitation to one year is explained by the fact that EFRAG intended to wait for possible effects of the Brexit and did not want to preempt any possible outcomes.

The membership of the ASCG’s Executive Director, Sven Morich, in the group was already extended for a further two years as of 1 December 2018.

In due course, an announcement will be made about the appointment of the EFRAG TEG Chairman.
