Eleventh ASCG Preparer Forum on Electronic Financial Reporting according to ESEF

On 24 June 2022, the eleventh ASCG’s preparer forum on electronic financial reporting according to ESEF was held as a video and telephone conference.

More than 70 participants from ASCG’s members (preparers, audit firms and associations) discussed, among other things, the following topics:

• Update on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD),
• Update on the development of an XBRL taxonomy on sustainability disclosures by both, the IFRS Foundation and EFRAG, and
• application issues regarding the mandatory mark-up of disclosures in the notes to IFRS consolidated financial statements for the financial year 2022.

The preparer forum exclusively provides our members with insights into current developments and serves as a platform to discuss issues related to the implementation of electronic financial reporting according to ESEF.
